Are you interested in developing your skills in Timelapse Photography? On Saturday 6th December 2014, Triggertrap will be hosting a free event at their London HQ and we'll be attempting to capture London in all it's glorious detail, frame by frame.
What's the plan?
We'll start the day at Triggertrap's HQ near Kings Cross station with talks from renowned urban photographer Nicholas Goodden, myself and the Triggertrap team. We'll answer any questions you have about photography and timelapse and give you a load of tips and tricks to help you for the day.
After this, we'll head out to varying locations in London and start shooting some timelapse goodness! You can either go out solo, pick a shooting partner or hangout in a small group and shoot either one long timelapse or grab a variety of shots.
You'll then head back to the office, we'll grab your shots and answer any further questions you may have.
What you'll need
Preferably a DSLR of some kind, a tripod and an intervalometer if you have one. If you don't have a DSLR, a GoPro or even an iPhone or other mobile with appropriate timelapse apps will work as well!
You'll also need to dress up warm! London's not known for it's sporadic tropical climates, even though we are having a very unusually mild November at the minute and although you may feel warm walking around, you'll soon get cold when you're standing still, especially if you're planning on a shot of an hour or more! Be prepared for the worst, and as it's London, be prepared for rain.
What will I get from this?
Whether you're a complete amateur or a seasoned pro, it's a chance to be involved in what we believe will be the biggest crowd-sourced timelapse of London to date! As well as this, we'll be handing out our knowledge and tips left right and center and as an added bonus, there'll be a prize for the best shot grabbed during the day!
What do I need to do?
See you soon!
